This is what Sutton Place Park looks like to me - not through my eyes, but through my nervous system.
I have synesthesia. I perceive places as color.
These two works are direct records of that perception, painted after visiting one of Manhattan's quietest and most beautiful corners.
Each piece is an original - one of a kind, never reproduced.

I can see it and translate it into a one-of-a-kind painting.
Policies
No returns, no refunds. All sales are final. Payment in full confirms your understanding that the work is a direct expression of my perception — not a representation of your expectations.
No creative direction. You choose the place. I paint what I perceive. Color, composition, scale, and form are entirely at my discretion. Requests to alter the finished work are not accepted.
Copyright. I retain full copyright and reproduction rights to all commissioned works. The client purchases the physical painting only. Licensing of reproduction rights is available separately.
Condition on arrival. Works are on builders paper and should be handled with care. Installation and framing recommendations are provided upon delivery. Damage after delivery is the client's responsibility.
For location commissions, all details can be discussed in a meeting or over email.
Any necessary logistics, security, entrance access, and so on, need to be arranged beforehand.
For public locations, I prefer quieter days so I can actually perceive the space.
The consultation itself takes up to 30 minutes depending on the location.
For people, consultations can be done in person or online and take up to 30 minutes.
In both cases, what ends up on the paper is what I genuinely perceive , specific colors, shapes, and spatial fields generated by my synesthesia.

All commissions are paid in full upfront.
