The Chroma Series
I grew up around a black and white darkroom. For most of my life, that was my visual language, the contrast, the grain, the way shadow becomes its own subject. Then color entered. And for a long time I felt like I had to choose.
I didn't.
The Chroma Series is black and white photography with color moving through it, not fighting it, not replacing it. A sweep. A band. A presence that arrives and keeps going. The monochrome world stays intact. The color simply passes through and changes everything it touches.
Most people think you have to pick a side. Restraint or vibrancy. Stripped back or fully saturated. The Chroma Series exists in the space most photographers never look at, where both are true at once, in the same frame, at the same time.
