I'm Camille Salvador, a synesthetic artist based in New York City.

I experience synesthesia, a neurological condition where the senses cross-wire.

For me, that means I perceive people and places as specific colors frequencies held within a person's bio-field, where complex layers of emotion and thought are stored.

I perceive these frequencies as color, then translate them into a one of a kind painting that's entirely yours.

Every commission begins with a session where I gather the color profile.

I call it a hidden rainbow, the unique set of colors I perceive. From there, I use intuition and artistic skill to create a piece.

My synesthesia isn't limited to just people, I can also perceive from places. My first series, Chaos Theory, captures my sensory perceptions of walking through New York City.
