A curated 20 frame contact sheet built from the photographs I’ve taken over the last few years while walking, working, and living my everyday life in New York City. These are the moments I collected without planning to the small scenes, textures, shadows, storefronts, trains, and passing details that somehow say “NYC” louder than the skyline ever could.
Every image was captured with my cellphone the tool I always had in my hand and arranged in the classic 35mm contact sheet format that reminds me of watching my father sort his negatives in the darkroom. As a xennial, this blend of analog structure and digital observation feels like the most honest way for me to archive the city I move through every day.
