Air Paintings

These paintings are made using air.

Each piece is created by capturing air from a specific location and using it as the paint itself.

Air is never static. Even in the same location, it is constantly changing. Weather, movement, temperature, objects, and the presence of people all affect how the air behaves. Because of this, the same place can never produce the same painting twice.Weather, breath, time of day, mood and atmosphere become the mark makers. No two places are the same way, so no two paintings can ever be repeated.

Every work is tied to where it was made. The location matters. The air matters. The moment matters.
